This morning at our weigh-in my husband was at 190 and myself 180 :(
I wish losing 10-17 lbs meant that in the end I'd be at 130! But math insist on being so literal ;)
Today has been rough. The first day is the hardest by far and we are very much looking forward to tomorrow when we can have some "real" food. It was a difficult task eating ONLY fruit and boy were the food cravings after me today! I wanted all sorts of things I couldn't have.
For our breakfast we split a personal size watermelon.
Lunch was an apple and sliced mango. Dinner we split the golden honeydew and were still hungry so we snacked on some strawberries. And our "late night" snack is pineapple. The hunger pangs have been frequent; taunting us. My husband who craved hot food decided to heat the pineapple in a skillet over the stove. Let's just say it smelled interesting and he, while hoping for a grilled pineapple taste, admitted it tasted like he nuked it.
I wish I could say we stuck to only melons and lost weight today but I wont get discouraged this is only the beginning. Tomorrow is a new day!
