A mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice. Any amount but no bananas yet.
No weight change today at weigh in before breakfast. My husband did not hope on the scale before leaving for work so who knows how much he's lost by now. We chopped and portioned out the night before what he would take to work which included watermelon, apples, oranges, pineapple, leftover soup, and corn.
There was women's bible study at 10am and I forgot to feed myself! When we have places to go I get caught up dressing and feeding everyone that I usually forget to eat! And normally this wouldn't be a horrible thing because breakfast yummies are served at bible study. I was praying on the way to church that someone would bring fruit! But of course the first food to arrive was Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I tried to stay away from the table! Finally though someone brought in some cantaloupe!! Phew! I was safe! But then there was the delicious coffee I normally enjoyed every Friday morning. I just stood over the coffee staring at it. On the GM diet you are allowed black coffee but I cant drink my coffee unless its creamy and sweet! I drank it with my eyes then sat down to enjoy my 4 little pieces of cantaloupe!
Once I returned home, I cuddled up on the couch and ate watermelon for breakfast while watching cartoons with my boys. For snack I had an apple and lunch was leftover soup. I'm not a fan of fish sticks but when I made some for my son's lunch, they smelled pretty darn good!!
Overall, it was a pretty uneventful day. I made soup for dinner (to be ready when my husband arrived home like a good wife haha) with tomatoes, celery, asparagus, celery, green pepper, cabbage, and one packet of dry onion soup mix. It was okay but the previous soup was better! We also had some steamed broccoli, and kiwis.
We went upstairs to go to bed at 7:30pm. The earliest EVER! We read our usual bedtime stories to little man; The Jesus Storybook Bible (I highly recommend it) and My First Devotionals (also a great one!!) and tucked him in. My husband went to bed and I struggled getting our littlest mister to sleep in his crib. I finally won at around 10pm! No complaints today except for when I woke up at 1:30am with the baby, I felt ill- head pounding and nauseous. But that might have to do with meds more than the diet.
Matthew 6:25
"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"
